Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Review and provide feedback for upcoming test requests/schedules on a regular basis.


• Assist with the installation of fixtures, data acquisition systems, instrumentation, and ATD’s.


• Ensure that testing devices and equipment are maintained and calibrated.


• Test compliance of products.


• Follow and provide input on Standard Operating Procedures, supporting documentation, and overall procedures to increase quality and/or productivity.


• Maintain the required documentation and communication throughout the test service.


• Review, analyze, and evaluate test data.


• Assist with tours of CAPE facilities when requested.


• Other related duties as assigned.

  • AAS degree in a technical field.

  Experience
  
  
  
  • Two or more years of specialized training in a related technical field.
  
  
  • Two or more years of work experience in a related work environment.

  Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  
  
  
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude
  
  
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  
  
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  
  
  • Excellent communication skills.
  
  
  • Must be mobile for the entire day (not a desk job).
  
  
  • Must be able to lift 100 lbs. occasionally, 75 lbs. frequently, and 50 lbs. constantly.
  
  
  • Must be able to travel as the need arises (training, seminars, and/or off-site customer testing).
  
  
  • Must be able to provide coverage after hours and weekends as required to support customer testing and meet project deadlines.
