Job Description:

RD Support Responsibilities:

• Develop in-depth analysis and financial tools for the RD Team


• Partner with Restaurant Development team in determining financial impact of potential remodel, and closure stores


• Owner of real estate proforma model used for site acquisition and lease renewals


• Periodic real estate reporting of ROI, IRR, Opportunity Stores


• Plan, monitor, and provide reporting and analysis for the company's capital spending(Around $150MM annually)


• Plan, monitor, and provide reporting and analysis for the company's R&M and Utilities spending


• Identify opportunities to improve returns on capital


• Plan, monitor, and forecast company's closures, remodels and dilution.


• Lead role in monthly forecasting and annual planning of new stores and the company's capital spending

COGS Backup Responsibilites:

• Become one of the company experts in the analysis of COGS, the company's biggest single line expense (over $650 MM in 2013) and help create tools to drive Ops behavior to save money.


• 
  New recipe portion cost and ingredients usage forecas

Ad-hoc analysis:

• The analyst will also get exposure outside of these areas to help with their growth including marketing analysis and supporting with our international expansion.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, or related field.


• Experience: 0-2 years experience in similar capacity


• Skills & Knowledge: Exceptional analytical, quantitative and creative problem solving skills; strong financial planning and modeling skills; advanced Excel skills, proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; data mining/planning systems experience a plus.


• Abilities: Ability partner with others to achieve win/win decisions; strong sense of urgency with a demonstrated ability to handle numerous projects concurrently; excellent service orientation
