Summary of Job Scope and Expectations:
The Accounting Manager (Int./JV) is responsible for the company's accounting for international business, partner brands, and joint venture investments. The position will be responsible for preparing the periodic and annual financial statements for the corporate owned international business, as well as managing the Accounts Receivable with international franchisee partners. The candidate will also be responsible for preparing the financial statements for our partner brands. The position will review Joint Venture quarterly and annual financial statements and accurately record the company's investments. The position will also provide assistance with the preparation of the company's quarterly bank covenants and annual audit.

Descriptions
* Coordinate periodic and annual closing for international company owned business. Produces periodic, quarterly and annual financial statements. Provide ad hoc financial reports to Senior Management.
* Provides support to the international business team, including: business analysis, ad hoc reporting, and managing international licensee accounts receivables to ensure proper revenue recognition and timely collection.
* Coordinates and prepares financial statements, analysis, and reporting for partner brands.
* Timely review and recording of joint venture investment transactions. - work through with Scott and firms that they work with
* Prepares periodic account reconciliations and quarterly bank covenant reporting.
* Assists Accounting leadership with company's external annual audit.
* Develops and implements accounting policies and procedures to ensure proper controls are in place.
* Drives continuous improvement initiatives and special projects to further enhance and simplify processes
* Provides customer service to Operations (GMs) in assigned regions, helping them understand P&Ls and responding to questions or issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree required; major in Business/Accounting preferred with course work in Accounting required; CPA strongly preferred
* Minimum five years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-state, multi-legal entity retail/hospitality environment plus CPA and three years of accounting experience with a nationally recognized accounting firm
* Successful completion of annual store training

* Strong computer/technology skills and highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting/finance software
