International Flavors and Fragrances N&B is looking for a RAW Material Planner/Extract Scheduler for our Rockland, Maine production site. The individual will be accountable for all tactical level processes required to secure and manage replenishment of raw materials and packaging materials, based on a forward-looking production plan, for our Rockland, Maine plant. This includes scheduling and managing delivery, storage, staging, and movement of materials.

In addition, this individual would be responsible for the detailed extract schedule in the plant.

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Your key responsibilities:

* With close collaboration with the plant scheduler, ensure the right materials are procured at the right time, quality and quantity to minimize production and storage costs, based on the Master Production Schedule.

* Works with manufacturing to optimize the plant Extract schedule along with manufacturing capabilities and maintenance needs.

* Owns and manages scheduling KPIs to measure planning accuracy/efficiency

* Manages NPI with site cross-functional team to ensure appropriate disposition actions are assigned and followed up on in due time.

* Issues Purchase Reqs/Orders against suppliers in alignment with contracts and have close follow up to ensure accurate delivery dates are reflected in the system.

* Utilize the system(s) of record to plan and execute raw material, procurement and identify issues where appropriate.

* Develop and provide expected demand for ingredients and packaging materials to suppliers on regular basis. Obtain supply capability confirmation.

* Assess and respond to expected raw material storage and distribution capacity requirements based upon supplier lead times.

* Lead resolution of short-term supply/demand imbalances for ingredients and packaging materials.

* Identify and initiate response to raw material service/quality complaints from manufacturing. Initiate return material process involving QA and Sourcing.

* Participate in and provide data for evaluation of supplier service performance and work with sourcing and suppliers to improve performance.

* Maintain accurate raw material master data including planning parameters such as order quantities or lot sizes, lead times and safety stocks.

* Participate to the introduction of new Raw Material or Packaging in our sites, leading all Supply Chain activities.

* Setup monthly call to review with Global Category manager, Supply Chain Planning Manager, each plant Raw Material Planner and balance replenishment volume vs inventory in our global network.

Job Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred

Operational supply chain professional with 2-3 years' experience in Purchasing, manufacturing, supply/demand planning or scheduling

Familiar with the principles of supply planning theory and stock management with the associated systems knowledge (SAP /APO/BW or equivalent).

Tenacious in service to customer mind set, have good communication skills,

Root cause problem solving and continuous Improvement mind-set and remote relationship building capabilities
