We are currently hiring aSenior Manager, Marketing AnalyticsinBoston, MA or Remote.

Boston Beer is looking for a growing analytical leader to start our in-house Marketing Analytics practice. The Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics will help us rapidly jump start how we measure advertising performance and how we plan and optimize our media investments. You will partner with the media planning and brand marketing teams to develop a measurement program that covers all our brand's diverse marketing tactics. You will turn that measurement program into frameworks and tools that can be used for better, faster decision-making. You will also create an infrastructure and analytical roadmap that supports the objectives of constant learning and improvement.

What You'll Do:

• Establish KPIs and benchmarks for paid and organic marketing across all channels


• Develop a holistic, multi-channel marketing measurement strategy for assessing performance of marketing within each brand and across the entire Boston Beer portfolio


• Design and implement automated, actionable reports that can be used across the organization to monitor effectiveness of marketing efforts


• Evangelize data-driven marketing to co-workers; train and mentor co-workers in how to interpret and use data to optimize their investments


• Manage acquisition, cleansing, and storage of marketing data; work with IT on a roadmap for building out our marketing technology and infrastructure


• Develop advanced models (e.g., MMM, attribution models) using marketing data to help improve marketing decisions


• Manage a mix of vendors and agencies to enable the marketing measurement agenda


• Continually seek out and explore new vendor capabilities and data sources

What We're Looking For:

• Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) in Analytics, Data Science, or another analytical discipline


• 10+ years in marketing analytics or quantitative advertising research


• 3+ years working in an advertising/marketing agency


• 3+ years development experience in Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent


• Basic SQL - ability to write and optimize queries to select data


• Understanding of marketing technology landscape with an eye on finding us a strong lineup of partners
