Deployment Programmer - Remote at Iatric Systems, Inc. in Wakefield, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Iatric is looking for a Deployment Programmer to join our team!

The Deployment Programmer provides implementation services for iatric Systems Applications and Integration solutions.  As the Deployment Programmer you will ensure that services related to implementation of the solution are delivered as planned and in line with product and organizational strategy.

You will work closely with both our iatric Systems Scripting team and Engine team to provide customers with custom built integration solutions focusing mostly within the Meditech HCIS space.

This will be a virtual, home-based position.

What your impact will be:

• This role crosses the established PS groups, working closely with all technical groups as needs arise.




• Work with Support and Product resources to help transition the post LIVE support of applications to the Support team.




• This role will act in partnership with the POs and PM teams to align implementation strategy with overall product/program strategy and supportability.




• Implementation of iatric Systems solutions




• Ability to deploy a wide variety of custom iatric Systems solutions




• Ability to pivot efficiently between simultaneously running projects




• Work with Development and Support teams to improve the handoff process




• Create/review/maintain implementation specific documentation




• Collaborate with product teams to ensure that deployment needs are being met

What we are looking for:

• Experience with programming MEDITECH MAGIC, Client Server, and Expanse platforms




• 4 year degree in a business or healthcare related field, or equivalent work experience




• At least 6 years’ experience in healthcare software implementation or support




• At least 3 years’ experience working with Healthcare Information Systems (HCIS), or equivalent work experience




• Knowledge of healthcare operations (hospital and outpatient clinics/offices)




• Experience with healthcare data interfaces and interface engines




• Knowledge of Healthcare IT data structures and HL7




• Proven leadership skills and track record of successful project delivery




• Ability to work independently in order to meet stated goals




• Ability to communicate effectively with both internal Iatric Systems and external Customer/Business Partner teams.




• Outstanding presentation skills coupled with a passion for the product’s value proposition in support of solving customer’s problems or enhancing their business




• Overnight travel may be required




• Valid Driver’s License




• Ability to work from a home office during business hours without distraction




• Ability to obtain high speed internet access from a home office
