Position Overview

This position contributes to the success of the company by providing accurate designs for current and new solutions for integrated labeling systems.  The Mechanical engineer is responsible for all aspects of the design process, including generating new ideas, making plans, fabricating hardware, analyzing components and maintaining systems.

Essential Job Functions


  • Produce new conceptual drawings per instructions.

  • Design assemblies and parts

  • Develop and maintain BoMs and other supportive documentation

  • Work with other departments for cost-effective, full solution development

  • Ensure quality standardization of products

  • Deliver reliable layout in timely fashion

  • Support Production on assembly, setup, testing, and problem resolution related to layout modification and interpretation.

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • 3+ years relevant experience

  • Product design/Layout experience

  • Drafting experience

    • SolidWorks

    • AutoCAD

    • 3D Modeling


  • Working knowledge of machining and machine shop processes

  • Experience with motion controls, sensors, actuators, pneumatics, etc.

Other Skills/Abilities which will ensure success


  • Ability to effectively communicate with other departments

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Positive attitude

  • Basic office work at desk, primarily sitting & keying
