We are hiring a Senior Program Marketing Manager for Strategic Solutions Commercialization where you will partner with your peers in developing and take the lead in commercializing, scaling, and driving the growth of Medtronic's healthcare solutions that advance our administrative customer relationships and enhance the impact of our world-class medical technologies.

A Day in the Life:


  • Lead the solutions commercialization process for new Strategic Solutions. Initiatives may include developing and implementing launch plans, designing and implementing comprehensive product marketing plans, and leading strategic activities such as business plans, competitive plan development, pricing analysis, sales/revenue forecasting, and analysis of customer interest/profile.
  • Develop and support an annual marketing/promotional plan for our existing commercial Strategic Solutions, including PRO|CV. Responsible for planning, initiating, monitoring, tracking our commercial solutions marketing projects and process improvement initiatives, facilitating successful, on-time and within budget execution. Establish meaningful metrics, track against them, report to leadership.
  • Work in close collaboration with the operational unit marketing/solutions teams, functional partners, and solutions innovation, marketing and customer engagement teams. Direct day to day activities for multiple work-stream teams through managing project plans, resourcing, status reporting, resolving issues, identifying project risks and accountabilities for deliverables across multiple functional organizations.
  • Partner with marketing leaders across Medtronic OUs to drive awareness and adoption of Strategic Solutions while thinking beyond the current product and solutions portfolio to identify solutions that fill gaps in operational efficiencies and deliver better patient care.
  • Co-Lead the Strategic Solutions Council to develop new and expand existing solutions, share best practices, leverage lessons learned, and drive better alignment across Medtronic.
  • Be recognized as the face of Commercial Strategic Solutions at internal leadership and external hospital administrator forums, summits, and executive engagements
  • Partner with Strategic Accounts and Sales leadership to build and execute the Strategic Solutions strategy and drive growth through our Solutions portfolio
  • Partner with the Solutions Customer Engagement team to assess and optimize the strategic solutions selling process across the U.S. and to ensure strong execution by U.S. field teams.
  • Partner with Solutions Marketing team on preparing marketing collateral, positioning, messaging and roll-out strategy to the Strategic Solutions and Strategic Accounts teams in the field
  • Partner with Solutions Marketing and SAM Teams to prepare content and effectively train new Strategic Account Sales and Solutions team members.
  • Ability to travel 30%

Must Have:


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, marketing, sales, or sales support in medical device or healthcare industry (8 years with Advanced Degree)
  • Project and/or Program Management experience
  • Experience leading cross functional teams and/or multi-faceted customer programs/engagements

Nice to Have:

  • MBA/MHA
  • Medtronic Experience - preferably in developing, commercializing, marketing, selling solutions
  • Certified Medtronic Lean Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt, or Lean Yellow Belt
  • Experience with design, development and management of centralized program monitoring/tracking system
  • Experience partnering cross functionally with health system administrative and clinical leaders, Medtronic salespeople and wide array of Medtronic in-house teams
  • Proven ability to successfully lead complex implementation engagements in a highly matrixed environment
  • Experience with US health care delivery system and key providers/players involved across the cardiac care continuum
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both customers (physician and administrative customers), as well as internal functional representatives
