As a Cloud Community Manager, you will be a key player in using new techniques, operational experience and business experience to drive the IT and ECS landscape to enforce existing SOPs and develop new, efficient operational processes and on-boarding for new applications, teams or services.

OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE


  • Provide specialized expertise in general platform portfolio, cloud ecosystems, big data and high compute clusters and modern IaaS/PaaS cloud-native deployments.

  • Drives proper service, teams or application on-boarding within the highly outsourced Takeda operational ecosystem.  This includes working third parties involved in management of the Takeda Enterprise Cloud (ECS).

  • Manage the cloud service backlog including proper “release management” and “controlled operations” for continuous deployments, ensuring quality of service with business continuity in mind.

  • Foster a culture of constant learning and training. Formed voluntarily, communities of practice to attract individuals who want to share knowledge with others and forge connections across company boundaries.

  • Identify potential communities of practice within the Takeda cloud customers and helps promote training and certification in a number of ways including remediation cloud skills gaps and develop a comprehensive skills enablement plan to build enterprise-wide cloud fluency.

  • Continuously promote the communities, communicate their achievements, and celebrate their successes.

  • Interlock with other Takeda teams to provide cloud consumer-obsessed service delivery.

ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Serve as the Cloud on-boarding and community of practice within the ECS (Enterprise cloud solutions).

  • Influence the existing complex landscape and solutions by innovating and establishing formal and informal training mechanisms, including communities of practice and promoting collaboration across the different teams to efficiently adopt and maximize cloud services,

  • Promote best practice, well architected framework and facilitate the move to a consumption based model.

  • Manage the on-boarding processes around for the Cloud Platform, including escalation and postmortem processes.

  • Interface with the Cloud operations team to adapt and improve the relationship with the outsourced provider.

  • Develops the services workflows and tracks operational metrics for new applications.

  • Build and accelerate new capabilities delivering business outcomes in terms of speed to value and mean time to repair as well as client satisfaction.

  • Work independently on tough problems with other team members and independently solve, with some guidance, very difficult technology problems.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
 

Required


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in Cloud comunity of practice or relevant project work.

  • Experience working in outsourced and virtual teams.

  • Experience in analyzing, reviewing and documenting current functionality and architecture designs to determine potential areas of improvement and proper application and services on-boarding

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of IAAS/PaaS Environments with a focused on AWS.

  • Understanding cloud-native patterns and site reliability engineering concepts.

  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to educate customers in the cloud relevant technologies

  • Ability to work in an agile and rapid changing environment with high quality deliverables.

Preferred

  • Master’s (M.S.) degree or equivalent experience
