An exciting and challenging position has recently opened for a Clinical Nursing Supervisor to oversee Night Operations of a busy, high-acuity Cardiac Telemetry and Medical Surgical Unit. Join this trusted hospital, and lead a team of capable and compassionate nurses.

The Clinical Medical Surgical Supervisor will join an outstanding medical center and play an important role in supporting the clinical and administrative mission of the health system. This 300-bed medical center has earned a reputation for outstanding patient care and employee engagement. Among this hospital’s most prestigiously awarded service lines is Cardiac Care and Intervention. The Clinical Telemetry and Med/Surg Nursing Supervisor will take a huge role leading the inpatient care services of this recognized program that offers Cardiovascular disease screening and prevention services, as well as interventional, surgical, and non-invasive treatment of these complex conditions. Employing cutting-edge screening technologies and techniques, this 30+ bed Medical Surgical and Cardiac Care Telemetry Unit is positioned to be one of the largest and most comprehensive Heart Programs in the Los Angeles Area. 

Reporting to the Director of Inpatient Services, who oversees Inpatient Medical Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry, Progressive Care, and Critical Care (ICU), the Clinical Nursing Supervisor will have an integral role in the operations of this expansive unit. Supporting the Nursing Supervisor are two CMSRN Charge Nurses and a CVRN certified Nurse Supervisor, along with 35 RNs across multiple floors. You will also get to take an important role in developing clinical education for the unit in collaboration with unit-based and hospital-practice nurse educators.

The Clinical Supervisor of Telemetry and Medical Surgical will get to take a pivotal role in the clinical and administrative success of this large unit. You’ll work with educators and inpatient leaders to help develop and codify standards and practices that keep this Magnet-journey nursing program at the forefront of the medical field.

The Cardiac Telemetry Med/Surg Supervisor will also get to serve as hospital-wide leader through optional participation in committees for employee experience, patient satisfaction, and quality improvement. Working in collaboration with leaders in finance and operations, the Supervisor will also get to make significant impacts on improving the operational efficiencies of this unit.
