Job Summary

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Demonstrated ability to sell products and services to investment clients; evidence of strong sales results.
FINRA Series 7, 63, 65 or 66 and state life and health insurance license.
Knowledge of financial concepts, investment products, portfolio analysis, goal setting and cash flow; knowledge of the securities industry, financial planning and investment management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Ability to approach problems/decisions with sound judgment; must be a self-starter and a problem solver.
Advanced listening, written and oral communication skills; strong persuasive and interpersonal skills.
Embody a "Win as a Team" philosophy, contributing to the collective whole.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with your team and retail partners to deliver advice to existing clients via inbound and outbound call campaigns
Proactively build relationships with existing clients to meet business objectives including asset consolidation, diversification, and client deepening
Evaluate client needs to help inform investment strategies
Understand and explain financial markets and economic conditions to clients
Recommend appropriate TCF Investment Services' products and services to meet clients' financial goals by utilizing consultative selling skills
Analyze portfolio performance reports, in conjunction with Wealth Management research and external parties, to make recommendations for change
Prepare and complete customer transactions that guarantee exceptional quality and necessary attention to detail in accordance with Cetera, regulatory, and program policies and guidelines.
When a referral is necessary to either a Regional Wealth Advisor or a Branch FA, ensure a seamless introduction and handoff.
Ensure the efficient operation of the daily work flow, and adherence to regulatory and compliance standards/guidelines.
Complete data entry and information retrieval using broker dealer website and various computer programs.
Meet client contact and sales & service goals through outbound calling and business development activities.
