Reports to: BSA Manager, Integrations and Development
Location: Goleta, CA
The Role
The Integration developer will
Provide direction for SOA interface initiatives and consult on solution designs.
Develop and maintain standards, guidelines, and reference architectures for SOA development efforts.
Design and develop SOA BPEL composites using Oracle JDeveloper.
Develop web services using SOA Suite JCA Adapters, XML (XSLT, XPath, XQuery etc.) and Java technologies.
Develop unit and integration test scripts (using tools such as SOAP-UI) and provide support during user acceptance testing.
Develop Rules engine using Oracle JDeveloper.
Develop B2B Configurations, including EDI Maps.
Develop BAM Reports.
Develop user/system documentation.
Troubleshoot functional issues and identify modifications needed in addressing the issues.
Support application code deployment from Test to Production environment.
Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:
Oracle SOA Suite, OSB, BPEL Processes, Oracle BAM, Oracle B2B and EDI;
Translating requirements into optimized designs, and identifying design alternatives and implications on functionality, effort, performance and operations;
Oracle’s ERP system, table relationships, and underlying data flows;
Web Services standards and technologies (e.g., XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, UDDI, etc.);
Security of SOA composite applications and OSB;
Systems design, development and integration experience in multiple IT disciplines;
Development and operational support experience including service development;
Designing and developing BPEL processes, Mediator, DB Adaptors, Oracle BAM Reports and Oracle B2B; and
Oracle SOA Suite 11g and experience with 12c.
Who You Are
Minimum of 5 experience as an integration developer
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Having a supply chain & Retail experience is a plus.
Excellent teamwork skills
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
