Job Summary:
Reporting to the regional manager, a key technician is responsible for performing locksmithing services as well as soliciting new business at auto dealerships, car rental agencies, fleet/remarketing companies, financial institutions, municipalities, repo yards and other venues as directed by HTL management.

Responsible for the generation and duplication of keys for automobiles, heavy duty trucks, motorcycles, recreational vehicles and powersports
Repair and replacement of ignition cylinders
Ability to remove immobilizer units, modules, ecu’s etc
Ability to use lockout kits / lishi’s to gain access to a vehicle
Complete daily assignments within service level agreements as provided by customers
Process payments for locksmithing services when applicable
Effectively update core systems, customers, teammates, and management with detailed daily production reports as defined by leadership team.
Must know, practice, and ensure that company policies/procedures are followed as well as state/federal laws pertaining to locksmithing services.
Perform all duties assigned by the regional manager and the senior management team.
Job Requirements:
Must possess a valid driver’s license at all time
High School Diploma/GED required; Mechanically inclined with automotive knowledge/work history preferred.
Strong communication and customer service level skills, along with the ability to sell services
Ability to prioritize workload to ensure customer service level agreements are accomplished.
Ability to work in a remote environment with limited supervision.
Daily market travel as well as occasional overnight stays in other markets may be required.
Ability to lift approximately 30 lbs. may be needed.
Training and studying materials provided as needed to pass necessary state locksmithing license testing
Ongoing continued education/testing necessary to maintain state licensing.

Physical Working Condition: This position is subject to outside environmental working conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems, such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with automobile operations and emissions.
