The Business Development Apprentice (BDA) is an exciting opportunity for highly motivated individuals who are interested in gaining a broad understanding of many areas within the business environment and manufacturing industry. The BDA will gain valuable and practical experience across Ardagh Group's Metal North America division. During this program the BDA will be responsible for learning multiple areas of the business including but not limited to: Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Continuous Improvement, Engineering and Operations. The BDA will work on tasks and special projects across multiple functions. This could include traveling to multiple manufacturing facilities and corporate sites to assist with and manage projects to drive business objectives. This position will lead to broader opportunities in specific functions/departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning multiple areas of the business and expanding cross functional knowledge
Managing several projects across multiple functions/departments to drive efficiency
Observing and shadowing existing leaders.
Bringing fresh and innovative ideas to our company
Experience broad and diverse rotations
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year College or University preferably in Finance, Engineering or Business-related field
0-3 years of functional experience in Corporate, Manufacturing; Supply Chain, Finance or Engineering environments
Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate ideas into clear priorities
Operates as a team player
Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects and objectives
High energy and intellectual curiosity
