Escalent, a leading provider of global market intelligence and advisory services to the automotive & mobility industry, is seeking a Knowledge Expert to support new Auto & Mobility offerings.

Position Overview:

As a Knowledge Expert, you will assist a Practice Leader in developing insights and identifying opportunities to expand research and consulting offerings to clients in the industry. You will have access to collaborate with a broader team of analysts and researchers who identify, monitor and evaluate trends in the automotive industry.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Work with an experienced Practice Leader to identify topics of interest, design surveys, distill insights from survey results and your knowledge of the industry to develop reports and presentations for clients
• Analyze and evaluate consumer survey data, trends, and consumer usage patterns to provide actionable insights and recommendations
• Consult with experts across the industry to gain a solid understanding of the factors reshaping mobility
• Represent Escalent as a recognized thought leader in the automotive and mobility space with clients, at conferences, and with the media
• Work with clients and executives to understand their needs and craft ways to provide insight and solutions for the problems they face
• Be able to turn data, interviews, and research findings into compelling stories that resonate with audiences
• Outline and draft research reports based on quantitative and qualitative data analysis, using a variety of formats (MS Word reports, MS PowerPoint presentations, webinars, blogs)
• Respond to specific client queries by leveraging primary or secondary research data

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 3 -5 years in a primary research, consulting, or analysis role, including experience working with data
• 3-5 years in product strategy, consulting, or industry analysis preferred
• Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
• Comfortable with numbers and basic statistics, coupled with the ability to communicate findings and recommendations in written and conversational business formats
• Previous experience related to the future of auto & mobility strongly preferred
• Previous experience with data analysis tools (strong Excel experience, experience using SPSS, Tableau or other data visualization tools) preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Minimum skills and knowledge:

• The desire to have, convey, and defend a perspective on the state of various auto industry/mobility developments
• Strong writing skills; experience writing research reports / presentations
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Superior attention to detail and an insistence on research integrity
• Working background knowledge of automotive industry
