North Wind Infrastructure and Technology is currently seeking a regional team leader for our FEMA MT-1 and anticipated MT-2 contract win. This candidate will need to have advanced hydrology and hydraulic modeling and project management experience in relation to FEMA National Flood Insurance Program elements such as MT-2 and regional MT-1 contracts. Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate similar project or program management experience with teams of 10 or more staff and/ or projects of approximately $2M per year.
Ideal candidates should also have a solid civil engineering background with hydraulic and hydrologic analyses related to Conditional Letters of Map Revision (CLOMRs) and Letters of Map Revision (LOMRs).

Duties include:
* Managing a regional team of engineers in the evaluation of CLOMRs/LOMRs under National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) to process applications on time to determine adherence to government regulations and ultimately if they qualify for a CLOMR or LOMC,
* Responsible for interfacing with regional stakeholders with respect to NFIP developments and training or for resolution of issues related to complex cases,
* Responsible for reporting up to program director and participating in occasional meetings with FEMA as a regional leader, and
* Oversight of regional administrative staff in the processing of applications and monthly invoicing.

Qualifications

* Minimum four (4) year Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) from an accredited school. Ideally an engineering degree with a focus on water resources,
* Minimum 10 years of experience related to civil-water projects involving hydrologic and hydraulic modeling,
* Minimum 5 years of project management experience for contracts of $2M per year or greater,
* Experience with FEMA Hydrology and Hydraulic modeling in relation to CLOMR/LOMR is required, and
