Your day.


In this position, the NeuroDiagnostic Technologist is responsible for the recording of visual, auditory and somatosensory evoked potentials as well as performing ambulatory, routine and portable EEGs on in- and out patients.



  • Arranges daily testing schedule by triage of patient symptoms and time available and obtains appropriate clinical history and neurological-related findings in order to obtain comprehensive and diagnostics EEG's and Evoked Potentials.

  • Performs ambulatory, routine, and portable EEG's to include patient instruction and prep, equipment prep and perform procedure.

  • Performs visual, auditory, somasensory and intra operative Evoked Potentials include: patient instruction and prep, equipment prep and perform procedure.

  • Monitors Quality Control/QA checks on the equipment, making sure physicians are satisfied with the quality of the tests.

  • Maintains an adequate supply of materials, assures all tracings are properly labeled with patient information and all medications taken by patient are listed.

  • Prepares procedure reports for physician interpretation and has prior reports available for reference for the interpreting physicians.

  • Maintains up-to-date files in the NeuroDiagnostic department and enters charges and/or orders into computer when applicable.



Your experience.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of one(1) year experience in NeuroDiagnostic testing of a health related area.

  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment.

  • Experience in understanding and usage of computers including the ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
