The Global Multidoor Architecture Director
is responsible for driving the design of all multidoor projects and model lines
presented in the generation plans for the four Business Areas, and to maintain
them. These designs must address
consumer needs in an innovative way and respect the modularity books and the
main criteria of best practice concepts regarding cost, investments, performance,
quality, and respect the requested timeline. I&W water functionality is
prominent in Multidoor and developed through the Multidoor Architecture. The
technical solutions are typically also used in other architectures in parts or
whole and the I&W team, working side by side with the Multidoor team
extends its responsibility to other platforms where the technology is applied.
This includes the technical development of after sales solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Responsible for
    Global Multidoor Architecture team along with the Ice and Water technology
    team and their related

  • Technology Roadmaps to help drive product modularization
    for automation while owning and managing budgets
    of investments for new products.

  • Manage the R&D dedicated
    teams and closely interact with the cross functional team to deliver the
    product development targets on time, cost and quality.

  • Guarantee the application of
    quality tools in project development to ensure the launch of competitive
    products with better-perceived quality and FFF.

  • Guarantee the efficiency and
    a high level of productivity of the staff of Product Engineering; identify
    continuous improvement measures and develop a joint development and
    training plan

  • Keeping
    employees informed and
    motivated to seek the use of the best technologies applicable to
    components and products to meet targeted consumer experiences.

  • Open mind to initiatives,
    innovation and digital concept, foster proactiveness to address consumer
    experience through innovative thinking

  • Investigate
    and prescribe optimized materials and manufacturing processes for a given
    component and sub-systems to look beyond current material and
    manufacturing standards and integrate outside industry best practices and
    manufacturing innovation
    into the development.

  • Apply critical thinking to
    understand depth of design and to predict why, when, and how designs fail
    to provide effective leadership of collaborative sessions within and
    outside technical domain to gather information and technical opportunities,
    consumer needs, and optimized design.

Minimum Qualification


EDUCATION
& EXPERIENCE (Minimum Qualifications):


  • University degree in Engineering,
    Computer Science or related technical degree

  • Minimum of 10 years related engineering and/or product development project
    management experience

  • Experience in R&D of cold
    products or technologies

  • Required languages: English (Fluent), any other
    language is an advantage

  • Experience with new project development
    activities; design concept generation and decision making.

  • Experience in product development for
    automation
