Essential functions

• Review and post daily/recurring entries


• Run monthly close cycle


• Reconcile petty cash account


• Prepare and analyze monthly district performance reports


• Ad hoc operational reports and requests


• Ability to learn and understand accounting system


• Record and analyze accruals


• Perform monthly account reconciliations


• Work with both internal and external auditors on a frequent basis: providing information and answering questions


• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Job requirements

• Bachelors in Accounting


• Working towards a CPA a plus


• Strong analytical abilities required


• Strong communication skills required


• Proficient in Microsoft Excel


• Strong data entry and organizational skills


• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Competitive salary commensurate with experience $50,000-55,000 annually.Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.Participation in the Company bonus programs for each plan year are subject to management recommendation and internal committee review.
