Note: This is a grant-funded position. Length of employment will be determined by the funding available.
The Coordinator, US Prep Data and Research oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting within the Department of Urban Education pertaining to students, faculty, and external partners. Reporting and collaboration occur at the department, university, and state levels.
DUTIES
Collaboration with the department of Urban Education and the Center for the Professional Development of Teachers to refine coursework and field experiences.
Act as a program expert for identifying and accessing data at the program, institution, and state level.
Support partnership-building efforts between the department of Urban Education and local P-12 campuses
Facilitate data management professional development efforts data conversations with university colleagues to help support continuous program growth
Work with program leadership to identify data needs and share data management issues with fidelity and integrity.
Submit annual program-level data reports.
Support the Urban Education department in meeting the needs of all enrolled students.

WORK LOCATION AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Primary Work Location: Works in an office environment
Physical Demands: Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment that does not subject the employee to any unpleasant elements. The position is physically comfortable; the individual has discretion about walking (20%), standing (30%), sitting (50%), etc. Must be able to lift, carry and push up to 50 lbs. The work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks.
