Appraisal and Construction Assistant at First Federal Savings Bank in Twin Falls, Idaho

Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Assist with evaluation report development, appraisal order/review functions and construction project monitoring.

  • Track evaluation orders and obtain county records and property data for the completion of the report.

  • Monitor appraisal orders within the appraisal order portal.

  • Assign third party inspections, monitor receipt of inspections, and maintain tracking log.

  • Perform all job duties and maintains compliance with all banking acts, laws, and regulation as applicable to your position.

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Assist lending staff and appraisers with appraisal orders.

  • Assist with the review of appraisal reports in compliance with Interagency Appraisal and Evaluation Guidelines & Appraiser Independence Requirements

  • Assist with the review of evaluation reports in compliance with Interagency Appraisal and Evaluation Guidelines.

  • Assists with construction project reviews and draw disbursements as needed.

  • Assist First Federal Lending and Business Banking staff with appraisal, evaluation, or construction issues as needed.

Qualifications Required

(Required education may be satisfied by experience and/or working knowledge)

High School Diploma and an intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products to include Word and Excel is required.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Sitting for extended periods of time, requires close visual acuity and the ability to work and operate computer applications and equipment including copy machine, telephone, scanner or other basic business equipment in a normal office environment.

 Qualifications Preferred

One year of experience working within an office environment.
