We are looking for someone with a passion for driving innovative software and operational improvements, deep familiarity with EMR systems and processes, a track record of building strong relationships with partners and customers, and demonstrated success influencing large cross-functional teams.

Myriad's Clinic Interfaces and EMR Team supports the seamless integration of Myriad products and services into our customers' existing in-house digital systems. We support all of Myriad's business units, products, and the medical specialties that use them. We bring precision medicine services to healthcare providers in the tools they use every day.

We have an established EMR program, currently completing tens of new clinic interfaces every month. We are looking for a Product Manager to help extend the reach of these offerings, and to pioneer new services for the benefit of the providers and patients using our tests.

What You'll Do
  • Work closely with diverse customers, internal and external, to understand their needs-leveraging interviews, surveys, shadowing, data analysis, and direct collaboration
  • Map and prioritize these needs to identify new product opportunities for EMR
  • Develop compelling and thorough business cases that articulate a vision, and are backed by solid projections of business value and costs
  • Partner cross-functionally with technical and operational stakeholders across the organization to define clear functional requirements and implementation plans
  • Collaborate with software engineers and operational stakeholders through the full product lifecycle
  • Define and regularly analyze metrics that inform the success of EMR offerings
  • Continually validate products with internal and external customer feedback and against business metrics
  • Directly manage integration projects with pilot customers, pioneering and validating new services and their supporting processes
  • Directly support implementation for major strategic projects

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:

? A Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) is required. Degrees in Science, Engineering, or another qualitative discipline are strongly preferred.

? 1-3+ years of experience in healthcare, with direct exposure to EMR and/or LIS systems.

? Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

? Proven drive to streamline processes and minimize repetitive work.

  • HL7 v3: CCD, CDA
  • CRM, issue tracking, documentation: Salesforce, Service Cloud, JIRA, Confluence
  • Posix command-line familiarity: basic navigation and file management
  • Programming languages and frameworks: Python, Django, JavaScript (note that programming is not required for this role, but familiarity with and interest in these tools is helpful)
