Job Description

The IT Project Manager be based in Austin, TX Remote. Will be responsible to demonstrates ability to consistently meet and exceed the needs of internal customers with focus on service, excellence and customer satisfaction. Demonstrates a holistic understanding of the processes and critically evaluates each process to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Effectively listen and seeks to understand customer issues and takes accountability to effectively resolve the same. Communicates effectively across functions & possesses the necessary drive, persistence and positive mindset to achieve organizational goals, across multiple levels of the organization. Demonstrates willingness and ability to work effectively considering new information or changing situation. Plans and prioritizes resources and time to complete tasks effectively. Leverages business knowledge to execute innovative strategies and can interpret, link and analyze large amount of data to understand & resolve problems in an increasingly complex environment. Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timelines of work and achieves results with little oversight. Demonstrates ability to understand business functions and metrics within the organization and industry and respond to a business need with speed and agility.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

• Coordinates projects of varying degrees of complexity from design and development to production.


• Defines resources (and resource allocation) and schedule for implementation.


• Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.


• Performs feasibility and needs/impact assessments.


• Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, milestones.


• Directs and oversees project team and manages conflicts within group.


• Performs team assessments and evaluations.


• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.


• Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.


• Working with the project members (IT System Analysts), key users and/or customers to enable you to effectively gather their requirements and then coordinate system implementation.


• Efficiently identifies and solves project issues. 


• Assess causes of problems and provide technical support and direction to project team to resolve issues.


• Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.


• Monitors project progress, timelines and budget constraints to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.


• Ensure adequate monitoring and controls are in place to ensure stability of the solutions.


• May coach or provide guidance to lower-level support analysts.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

• Knowledge and expertise in project management


• Knowledge and expertise in shop floor control system implementation


• Experience in system implementation ERP or production control


• 3 years of experience as IT Project manager


• Fluent in English


• Flex Flow knowledge (if internal)
