SUMMARY

The Knowledge Management Specialist will provide knowledge management support to facilitate, measure, access, and communicate the direction and results of GP's activities, as well as provide general office support for a variety of administrative tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Advise staff on methods and tools for improving their workflow, productivity, and transparency. Design and assist with document management, collaboration and workflow projects.
  • Insure materials and documents are housed in a central location (online collaboration space) where they can be accessed by the full range of appropriate audiences. This may involve uploading documents, creating content, soliciting contributions, or otherwise modifying site content.
  • Provide feedback to GP on needed knowledge management tools and functionalities.
  • Establish governance and guidelines for the use of knowledge management platforms and associated applications, including CRM, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Administer SharePoint and Teams platforms and associated applications.
  • Administer CRM platform for GP, liaise with GPA, maintain standard operating procedures for the application, and track usage of the application.
  • Disseminate and track analytics for marketing campaigns through CRM.
  • Administer the PPP Reporting Module in FACTSInfo for GP, liaise with USAID and the Office of Foreign Assistance on the partnership reporting, and conduct annual public-private partnership data call.

  • Conducts research and synthesizes data from various internal and external sources to develop, produce, and maintain a range of market intelligence products, including profile documents on potential private sector partners and landscape analyses of private sector engagement for specific policy priorities.
  • Conduct training for GP staff on knowledge management applications, including CRM and the PPP Reporting Module.
  • Carry out special projects and other duties as required.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

This position does not have management authority or supervisory capacity

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


  • Experience in an office environment, preferably within the U.S. government.
  • Experience using qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of programs.
  • Experience with developing and managing standard operating procedures for data management.
  • Experience with SharePoint, SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, Teams, and/or with equivalent applications.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar customer relationship software (CRM) applications.
  • A Bachelor's degree plus at least one year of related work experience OR a Master's degree is required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; must be able to work well with senior officials, staff, and interns.
  • Strong organizations skills, a customer service orientation and excellent execution and follow through skills.
  • A Secret clearance which can be verified in JPAS or DIS is required.
  • Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and background investigation is required

This position is primarily performedin a controlled office environment
