Job Description:

Ensures the safe, efficacious and cost effective preparation and use of medications.  

Assumes responsibility for entire medication use process; provides direct medication – related patient care, and maintains documentation of such. Conducts practice of pharmacy in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations and hospital policy and procedures. Coordinates, supervises, and evaluates all technician activities. Assumes responsibility for ensuring all healthcare providers have working knowledge of patient drug therapy to ensure quality patient care.

1. Education and Training
• Bachelor’s Degree or Pharm D in Pharmacy
• Current Licensure in State of Ohio
• BLS required within 90 days of hire

2. Experience
Hospital experience or residency required. One year of experience working in a Hospital Pharmacy preferred.
