The Quality Assurance Analyst ensures testing is completed before a deployment. During testing this person will be tasked with finding issues that may lead to cash loss and communicating them to the appropriate teams for correction. The Quality Assurance Analyst will also look for issues with how stores close the books and account for discrepancies between cash and purchases.

What You’ll do as a Quality Assurance Analyst:
Specific focus on cash reconciliation and systems for store reconciliation processes.
Ensure testing is completed on new applications before deployment and validate requirements are met by the rollout
Finds issues and communicate them to the appropriate teams for correction
Create and follow test scripts for bug identification and release notes of what was tested for known issues
Communicate with stores when potential issues are found, and attempt to recreate them in the labs
Reduce delivery time of solutions to the business and the number of priority 1 & 2 solutions waiting on resolution
Manage the release of new code to improve the customer and/or employee experience at Maverik. Ensure the code is released without causing future issues for customers and/or employees
Test software programs to find and communicate any customer impacting issues
Determine and perform required follow up testing needed based on preliminary issues identified

You’ll be a Great Fit if You Have:
Experience working in retail environment with the responsibility for closing the books and finding cash discrepancies
Demonstrated your ability to investigate & weigh alternatives & select appropriate course of action, driving activity to measurable results
Demonstrated strong written & verbal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization
A pattern of identifying the root cause for issues and using effective problem-solving methods to arrive at the best resolution option
Bachelors degree in technical or business field preferred
3+ years QA testing and/or training experience, or equivalent combination of education and retail experience is preferred
