Feeding Assistant
NHC HealthCare Anderson
We are looking for compassionate, loving hearts to assist our residents at mealtimes. 8 hour Paid Feeding Assistant training course is provided on-site. The hours are flexible, and they center around meal times. Additional 8 hour on-line training course is available for qualified candidates who want to begin their nursing career. This opportunity is perfect for people who want to explore the field of nursing, or people who want to become certified nursing assistants.
Responsibilities:
- Assist appropriate residents with meals and hydration
- Utilize correct techniques when assisting residents with meals
- Employ Infection Control procedures
The qualified person for this position should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and respond appropriately to resident's behavior.
Pay is 8.50-9.00 per hour.
