Job Description:

Position Description

Install, maintain, diagnose and repair equipment related to the unloading, loading, transfer and storage of bulk cargo, including bulldozers, front-end loaders, forklifts, fleet trucks and conveyor equipment. Work around and on conveyors, bag houses, and air compressors. Perform fabrication, cutting, and welding on heavy equipment and conveyors. Know how to use hand tools such as wrenches,grinders, drills, saws, impacts, tape measure, etc. Housekeeping and general maintenance as required. Perform any other type of terminal function as trained and instructed by terminal supervision.

Position Requirements

Knowledge of GMAW and SMAW processes. Knowledge of plasma and torch cutting.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a TWIC clearance or any other clearance as required.
Must be able to execute and maintain necessary records for our maintenance software.
Must be able to follow written and/or verbal instructions, including manufacturer's service specifications.
Must be able to take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details and work cooperatively with others.
Must be able to read directions and prints as well as to inspect machine parts closely to ensure they meet specifications.
Must be able to communicate, verbally and in writing, in English.
Must be a safety conscious person on the job.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to perform work requiring frequent stooping and bending.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work at heights up to 120 feet in a man lift.
Requires work in all types of weather conditions.
Must be available to work all shifts and weekends.
