Position Title: Intern – Network Financial Planning & Analysis


 


Position Summary


The Financial Planning & Analysis Intern will assume an integral role on the Finance team and will be expected to support the team across all the team’s main functions.  FP&A is responsible for the following functions:



  • Quarterly Budget and Outlook preparation for various Revenues, Costs, and Capital Expenditures

  • Reporting and Analysis of key Network metrics

  • Short and Long-term Strategy and Financial Forecasts

  • Financial Support for the entire Network Organization

 


Essential Job Functions



  • Provide support on the following types of workstreams:

    • Financial modeling for various projects, transactions, and forecasts

    • Prepare presentations to communicate financial results, forecasts and strategy to the broader organization

    • Monitor industry news, estimates, strategic perspectives and commentary for purposes of benchmarking



  • Perform Finance related projects as assigned

  • Work in Excel to conduct financial analysis

  • Ability to manage competing priorities under assigned deadlines

Education/Certifications



  • Will be entering ultimate year in an undergraduate or graduate program directly following internship

  • Written and verbal communication skills

Reports to:  Director, Operational Finance


 


Location: 10-week fully virtual internship program


 


Working Conditions:  Works in a normal office setting with no exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
