Sr Manager, Global Compensation

Job Summary : The Senior Global Compensation Manager is responsible for researching, establishing, and maintaining the company's enterprise pay system. This involves researching and understanding the current and upcoming competitive markets for employee pay and benefits. In addition, the Sr. Global Comp Manager plans, develops and implements new and revised compensation programs, policies and procedures to align with the company's goals and competitive practices. Expert knowledge in broad-based compensation, sales compensation, job architecture, and researching the competitive landscape. Provide consultative skills to HR, engagement with business leaders, strong program and project management abilities, excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to be innovative and flexible; solve challenging problems; deliver strategic long-term solutions; build internal tools and resources; lead and coach individuals and project teams.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Global Total Rewards Strategy
Provide strategic alignment to the business, approach relationships from a consultative manner with HR and business leaders
Engage with key stakeholders to develop a clear understanding of the HR and business strategy, priorities and requirements, aligning reward plans and policies to attract and retain the required talent
Lead the annual merit cycle, establish salary structures, manage policies and procedures, in addition to enterprise compensation work such as conducting job evaluation and submitting to salary surveys to ensure the achievement of equitable and competitive employee compensation
May lead M&A activity; may represent the Rewards function on HR teams
Build-out internal Global Total Rewards portal pages
Develop and lead training for broader HR community
Maintain a working knowledge of international countries, domestic federal and state legislation influencing compensation and benefits
May be involved with incentive, stock option and bonus plan design
Ensure programs, policies and procedures are current with regard to trends, practices and costs
Trains, coaches, mentors, and develops team members
Qualifications
15+ years experience preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Extensive experience managing Global compensation activities
Ability to work independently and lead initiatives and team members as required
Thrives in situations where you can diagnose challenges and problem-solve on a daily basis; Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Able to build strong working relationships with teams and key stakeholders; Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with peers, teammates, Rewards leadership; Collaborative and participates in a supportive team environment
Capable of data-driven analysis with the ability to share information with a diverse set of customers, not just others that are analytically wired
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional project management skills and can effectively balance competing priorities
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills and demonstrated proficiency with PowerPoint
Experience with Workday preferred; comprehension of HR systems required
Strong organizational and time management skills and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
