Job Posting Title: USA - Quality Supervisor, Warehouse

Time Type: Full Time

The Quality Supervisor is a visible leadership and development role. This individual is responsible for supporting the Operations and Quality Department.

The Quality Supervisor will report to the site Operations Manager. This role supports local continuous improvement activities, document controls, data tracking & reporting, process auditing, and ISO activities.

He/she will also ensure that the operation adheres to the overall corporate mission, vision, and core values while consistently meeting client and company expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality

* Maintains compliance to international, industry and customer-specific quality standards.

* Leads and individually performs as needed, the analysis of product/service issues to determine root causes.

* Manages and communicates change control processes to all departments.

* Responsible for the coordination of internal and external auditing plus maintaining the internal quality audit system.

* Assists in implementation and monitoring of the company quality systems including, but not limited to, compliance with the following standards: ISO 9001:2008

* Assists in establishment, implementation and evaluation of quality management system metrics.

* Provides guidance and support for both customer service and quality departments assisting with problem solving and improvement opportunities.

* Manages customer driven continual improvement roadmaps.

* Develops and conducts training on the quality system and other related topics

* Oversees document control; updating, creating and publishing controlled documents including sending change notifications to effected parties/departments and follows up on the Quality Management System.

* Develops and implements administrative systems including record management, traceability, and trend reporting.

* Plan and lead QIT, including meeting minutes and action plan.

Safety

* Supports and promotes safe practices and environmental commitments in alignment with company commitments, policies, and compliance requirements for the site.

* Actively supports site safety program in accordance with DSV standards.

Facility Maintenance

* Sets goals to manage continuous improvement & 5S+ improvements for assigned site.

Operation & Labor Management

* Actively supports and practices mentoring, succession planning, and staff development activities at the site level.

Budgeting

* Partners with the OM to recommend annual operating budget improvements for assigned operation

* Responsible for all equipment, supplies, documents, and materials related to job.

* Manage supplies to prevent waste/loss

Customer Service

* Monitors KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for assigned operation

* Prepare & present Monthly Quality Meeting presentations in a client facing environment

OTHER DUTIES

* Performs other duties as required

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Supervises warehouse quality associates and team leads

* Communicates all problems and questions to manager

* Assist the operations/general manager as needed

* Follows all safety procedures at all times

* Responsible for all equipment, supplies, documents, and materials related to job.

* Responsible for following all DSV policies and procedures

* Complies with all federal, state, and local regulations

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

* Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

* 3 years experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.

* 1 year experience in a supervisory role

* Able to operate MHE

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations

* Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

Computer Skills

* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams and Power Point)

* RF Scanners

* WMS functions

Language Skills

* English (reading, writing, verbal)

* Business communication

Mathematical Skills

* Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities of product, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing and distributing client products.

* Strong attention to detail accuracy and accomplish job task in a timely manner

* Good organizational and personnel skills

* Good communication skills, written and oral

* Good leadership, supervision, and planning skills

* Able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends, as required by the operation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* 4-Year College Degree preferred, will consider equivalent experience or combination of education and experience

* 3PL management experience strongly preferred
