The IDEXX Commercial Learning Team is hiring for an AreaSales Trainer-East to lead curriculum content delivery alongside of building skills and capabilities within our customer facing sales organization to strengthen our position as the trusted partner for veterinary professionals in improving their patient care and practice health.
In this role you will:
Lead training curriculum delivery for key IDEXX business opportunities including Classroom setting, Sales Summits, Trade Shows, Regional Sales Team meetings, and Leadership Team debriefs
Provide support for content development by offering expertise and perspective during reviews, editing and impact measurement steps of the development process
Deliver Coaching and Development for our Customer Facing Organization through field work-withs, support for new hire and tenured sales professionals, and train the trainer development programs
Assess and deliver training opportunities to maximize impact for live and virtual training activities
Partner with Area Sales Leaders to identify and prioritize Area training and business opportunities to strengthen our relevance with our customers
Conduct assessments and lead process improvement opportunities with our Training Curriculum, Coaching Assessments, Training Delivery, and new Education Technology considerations
Support project assignments that cover interdepartmental partnerships, New Product launches, and specialized customer training opportunities
Support IDEXX customer coverage model with training support and targeted customer engagements as identified
Work with Regional Sales Managers on customization of personal learning journeys for field sales professionals by guiding identification of content and making recommendations for assignment
Adhere to and model the IDEXX Purpose & Guiding Principles.

What you need to succeed:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. MBA preferred.
Specialized training or certification in Education/Training preferred
Successful experience in customer facing sales roles strongly encouraged
Experience with Adult Learning and Training Platforms for large teams recommended
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to facilitate meetings effectively in person and with virtual teams
Committed team player who can work with general direction and with proven ability to identify, analyze, and propose recommendations for process improvements
Ability to teach and positively influence a variety of audiences
Abilities to collaborate and influence from a home office environment
Effective facilitator, able to resolve conflict through mutual understanding and respect
Strong problem-solving skills with the willingness and ability to work collaboratively with others in a matrix environment.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Web based meeting hosting
Travel up to 50%
Extended hours may be required
Office or remote/ home office environment.
Visits with field sales and commercial team partners along with home office travel to IDEXX headquarters
