The
person in this position will drive worldwide the design of Food
Preservation architecture(s) in line with the Generation Plan of each
region / Business Area. The individual will lead a team of engineers in different
countries. This individual will ensure the successful design integration at
product level of all the modules and components regarding new architectures, platforms,
and range derivations. This role will be leading the cross-functional
engineering development team, test labs, marketing, industrial design, and
manufacturing towards the successful and flawless product implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new procedures or enhance
  existing ones for continual improvement in the design and development
  process as related to global architectures.


• Drive
  the development of new Food Preservation architecture for product typology
  XYZ for all worldwide markets.


• Lead
  a worldwide cross regional team, foster global mindset and approach,
  diversity, focused on consumer experience


• Drive the implementation/integration of new
  technologies to be applied to in the Food Preservation products.


• Guarantee worldwide the architecture resources
  allocation for the product typology XYZ and the skill to deliver the
  Global project portfolio of Food Preservation / business areas Generation
  plans.


• Support the Regional PD in delivering the
  regional cost and quality program


• Define and guarantee the global product
  development budget for the Food Preservation architecture XYZ.


• Drive and supervise the correct deployment of
  the modularization strategy.


• Drive the improvement of the design and
  validation processes , ensuring design for manufacturing and automation,
  working in close collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering and
  Purchasing


• Review and approve detailed engineering
  documentation including part and assembly drawings, specifications, and
  procedures for regional & global designs.


• Interface with technology domains to
  understand product requirements and develop specification documentation
  seeking to reuse existing modules where possible and/or identify new
  designs that are needed to support new products.


• Exhibit appropriate professional behavior
  including, teamwork, creative thinking, and personal integrity to achieve
  department/corporate goals and objectives.

Minimum Qualification

EDUCATION &
EXPERIENCE:

• 10+ years experience in architecture development and modularization, cold products or technologies preferred


• Experience working in a multicultural,
  international environment


• Strong leadership and change management
  skills


• A mindset of curiosity and
  finding new solutions to deliver customer experiences


• Proficient with new project development
  activities; design concept generation and decision making


• Having passion for innovation, customer experience, and drive for results


• Analytical thinker with communication and people skills


• In-depth knowledge about the appliance business preferred
