JOB DESCRIPTION

Cloud & DevOps Engineer

BASIC FUNCTION OF JOB

This position provides Level 2 and 3 break/fix support for various internal stakeholders, as well as performing large deployments and upgrades of cloud installations for data factories. Supports large cloud convergence and automation projects with Infrastructure as code methodology, supporting Infrastructure, Release Management and Application Development teams in the effort. Able to coordinate and directly interface with internal Operations customers for changes and troubleshooting.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements:

Degree in computer science, networking or related IT field and/or 5+ years of equivalent IT experience

Azure Admin/DevOps Profile with Azure Certifications or Azure ML certifications plus experience in Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) or equivalent AWS experience and services

Must have experience building cloud automation, including CD/CI pipelines using PowerShell, ARM, Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker

Heavy experience with deploying scripts- Python is a MUST

Deploying infrastructure as code

Excellent troubleshooting skills

Experience with configuring and deploying micro services on cloud leveraging high scalability and high availability design patterns.
