The Solution Architect is responsible for working with Unisys clients to design and implement solutions related Unisys portfolio offerings. These solutions

Role Purpose

Responsible for leading a team of Architects to design and implement solutions related to Unisys portfolio offerings. These solutions cover a broad range of partner products that Unisys offers its clients and requires leader with a broad range of knowledge, a high level of experience, and the ability to apply that knowledge to lead a team of high skilled team members that can adapt to changing customer needs and an evolving set of solutions.

The candidate will lead a team of highly motivated Architects that are focused on growing our portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities/Outcomes

• Works to make sure team members are kept current with solution features, architectural issues, implementation considerations, cost elements and effort estimates.


• Must have the ability to communicate effectively with both senior leadership and technical teams.


• Effectively prioritizes teams work to win in the market.


• Collaborates with sales teams to develop and recommend products and services to meet customer requirements.


• Maintains up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of both Unisys and competitor products and/or services.


• Must have the ability to coach teams to bring proposed technical solutions through the Unisys Deal Review Board for approval.


• Lead or support architectural and/or solution reviews.


• Coach and support teams through the strategic planning activities and business case development for client engagements.


• Provide feedback to Financial and Solution Portfolio team on how the market is responding to Unisys Solutions.


• Coordinate architect resources to develop the solution architecture.


• Present solutions to internal and client stakeholders.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Key Qualifications

• Requires an Undergraduate degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience.


• Requires a minimum of 12 years of IT experience


• Has a broad understanding of all Unisys Portfolio (or equivalent external) Solutions within the assigned Area of Strength and is able to present solution and portfolio strategy to clients.
