Summary

We are currently seeking a Door Sales Coordinator to support our sales department. Primary duties are to interact with customers, outside vendors, and employees from different departments in an administrative function. Duties include processing quotes, purchase orders, inquiries, order input, cutting and packaging shower door hardware, and working with production to expedite orders

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Process quotes, purchase orders, and orders for customers

  • Enter orders into computer system quickly, accurately, and efficiently to meet required deadlines

  • Coordinate between sales and production to meet customer deadlines

  • Communicate with customers to determine expected delivery date and time

  • Greet customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner through written or verbal communication

  • Other duties include, but are not limited to boxing hardware, locating glass, and putting away hardware

  • Provide assistance to all co-workers when needed

  • Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job

Requirements


  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer facing role

  • Strong organizational and listening skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively and conduct oneself professionally, with excellent written and verbal communications

  • Ability to use office equipment including desktop computer, copy/print machine, calculator, and telephone system 

  • Ability to enter data and type numbers on a 10-key with accuracy 

  • Read and perform mathematical calculations  and measurements with numbers, fractions, and decimals

  • Ability to use packaging equipment, chop saw, and miscellaneous hand tools

Physical Requirements


  • The majority of this position is spent in an office. To avoid injuries to hands, back, and neck, proper ergonomics should be maintained while working at desk/workstation.

  • The production area is not climate controlled, therefore is subject to varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.)
