Description

VSolvit LLC is seeking a Program Control Analyst to support a variety of government contracts that have been awarded to our growing company. The contracts span DoD and other governmental organizations and work is performed at both VSolvit offices and customer sites. We are looking for skills that will assist our growth through the understanding of WAWF, CLIN's, SLIN's and help align our financial tracking, forecasting and budgeting across projects. The Program Control Analyst will use analytical tools, both computer-based and theoretical projections to show trends and resource needs then share this information with management and Program Managers. The Program Control Analyst tracks contract and overhead expenses for the Program Manager as well as supports the Program Manager in the preparation and on-time delivery of required contract deliverables. In addition, the Program Control Analyst will develop and deliver financial status presentations to company managers and Government customer contract representatives as business need dictates. The Program Control Analyst will determine financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results. Improve financial status by analyzing results and variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions This position requires a self-starter that is detail-oriented and possess the strong communication skills both verbal, written, virtual and during staff meetings.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Supports the financial management and analysis of contract task orders, subcontract finances, purchasing requests and revenue forecasting through administrative tools.

  • Use MS Excel spreadsheets and other tools to organize and present financial and deliverable data

  • Coordinate the communication and updating of work assignments as they affect task order expenditure rates and project backlog

  • Review and track VSolvit technical teams, subcontractors, vendor invoices for financial and labor hour data

  • Develop plans and processes for tracking program requirements such as deliverables, labor changes, contractual obligations, and then implementing the plans or modify plans to meet Program Manager needs

  • Review and audit employee Travel and other contract related Expense Reports

  • The Program Control Analyst will also be a key contact in audit and compliance activities, as well as key to projecting all contract related spend plans, contract deliverables and the balancing of project budget against needs.


Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications:


  • Associates Degree and 8+ years financial/accounting experience in government contracting

  • 3+ years' in a Program Control Analyst role supporting Government Contracts

  • 3+ years' Project Control Analyst/Project Financial Analyst role working with government service contracts involving labor projections

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Associates in Accounting, Finance or Business

  • B.S. in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance or equivalent, with at least 5 years related financial/accounting experience in government contracting

  • Motivated self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision,

  • Ability to easily communicate financial information and scenarios with management and Program Managers

  • Experience with various accounting systems such as JAMIS, DELTEK, CostPoint or others is a plus

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required

  • Must have advanced knowledge working in Wide Area Work Flow and Government Accounting language ie. CLIN, SLIN, ACRN

  • Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Defense Acquisition policies
