The Director, Global Campaigns & Programs role is responsible for leading in the application of FARO's overarching business & marketing strategy into global campaigns and programs that elevate the brand and fuel business growth with greatest return on marketing investments. This role would be the strategic guidance and architect of integrated marketing programs that span across multiple channels, traditional and nontraditional, to engage our audience at every stage of the buyer journey - from prospect awareness to customer advocacy.

You have:


  • Proven experience with strategy development and execution, defining and driving vision while executing on the tactical activation, meeting timing, objectives, and budget.

  • Proven ability to collaboratively build and deploy integrated, multi-faceted marketing campaigns and programs and not just one-off tactics.

  • Curiosity and passion for continuous learning and process improvement that drives constant improvement in yourself, your team, and your colleagues.

  • The global nature of this position requires the ability to work across multiple cultures, countries, and time zones, as well as overcoming language barriers.

  • Ability to foster connections thinking to challenge teams to not only create amazing campaigns, but also think equally about how and where these campaigns will come to life and how they will live in the eco-systems where consumers play.

  • Success in bringing paid and collaborative partnerships to life which moved the brand forward.

  • Analytical prowess that drives you to assess behavior and performance, track and understand the right data, and convert these to insights that lead to further improvement of the organization.

  • Team player who can collaborate and inspire cross functionally.

  • 5+ years of business-to-business marketing w/ 3+ years of campaign/program design and execution.

  • Budgeting and budget management skills to properly allocate resources and meet financial objectives

  • Proven track record in leveraging customer advocacy to create content like user stories and testimonials to attract new customers.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Experience in Salesforce.com

  • Experience in Hive9 is a HUGE plus.

How you will make a difference @ FARO:


  • Translate business strategy and objectives into segment-specific marketing goals, approach, priorities and key actions.

  • Own the development of segment marketing plan, secure buy-in from product marketing and sales leadership.

  • Establish and manage segment marketing budget and forecasting, including analysis and detailed metrics between spend and performance to maximize return on marketing investment.

  • Collaborate with global campaigns & programs team to design and execute brand awareness, demand creation, pipeline acceleration, sales enablement and customer growth programs to achieve goals and drive business impact.

  • Build, maintain and ensure organizational adoption of segment-specific market maps, buyer personas and buyer journey maps to maximize marketing and sales effectiveness

  • In partnership with global campaigns and programs, translate market messaging from product marketing into appropriate messaging for different media channels to generate interest and engagement globally

  • Working with Global Sales Leaders to identify publications, distributor partners, events (in person and virtual), and other opportunities that may be unique to the regional market that can help elevate each product release, all while still being aligned with the plan

  • Being intimate partners with Corporate Marketing to ensure that the necessary needs of each product launch are identified and delivered in a timely manner (photos, videos, customer testimonies, ROI statistics, publication requirements, etc.

  • Support product marketing to deliver on product roadmap by effectively collaborating with Sales Leaders and Corporate Marketing to define and deliver on metrics for each product/solution release.

  • Develop and maintain a continuous learning strategy to the appropriate business area (3DM, AEC, PSA) to better understand industry applications, customer challenges, FARO solutions, competitor offerings, and overall benefits.

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk and communicate, use hands/fingers, feel and reach with arms. This position requires the ability bend or stoop as necessary and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
