The Lead COPADO DevOps Engineer develops and/or modifies systems software for use internally  conducts requirements gathering and analysis  writes code using lower-level assembly languages and/or higher-level languages (e.g.  C) and translates/compiles into machine language for use on specific hardware  and supports software testing  deployment  and maintenance activities by correcting programming errors and coding software enhancements. Experience with COPADO is a must. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks  and works under minimal supervision  Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action. Create  maintain  and enhance build pipelines as products. Create  maintain  and enhance release pipelines as products. • Steward and maintain DevOps platforms  including: resource management. platform upgrades  and implementation of standards. Design  maintain  and advance build agent infrastructure. Implement  and manage platform security and access. Establish monitoring  logging  and dashboards to ensure the overall health of the platform(s). Implement automation into the platform(s) to enable developer self-service. Responsible for creating stellar documentation. Excellent communication & collaboration skills necessary. Partner with and assist the developer community in their journey to adopt DevOps principles & practices
