Position Objective

We are looking for you too! All Covered, IT Services Division of Konica Minolta, currently has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer for our Los Angeles customer base!

The primary focus of the Systems Engineer position is to ensure that our customers' infrastructure environments are functioning as optimally as possible. This requires superior hands on technical knowledge and support of network, server, desktop, security, cloud and other infrastructure related issues for our managed services customers. Our Systems Engineers are on-site with our customers providing solutions for each unique infrastructure environment. Our goal is to successfully manage our customers' IT so they can focus on running their business.

Essential Job Functions

  • Diagnose and remedy network, hardware, software, server and peripheral product issues to enhance efficiency, reliability and performance
  • Install and configure new computers and perform routine computer maintenance as needed
  • Perform upgrades, implementations, configurations and design as well as other projects at customer sites
  • Ability to work independently and travel to customer locations
  • Willing to continuously learn new technologies and attend training courses
  • Work with other Engineers on the team for mutual knowledge sharing
  • Produce up-to-date records and guidebooks of clients' networks as they grow
  • Document customer tickets in system and account for billable time

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

  • Proven network analysis and diagnostic skills, ability to implement quick and effective solutions to network problems, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven dedication to enabling continuous operations.
  • Proven ability to operate productively in a virtual office environment, delivering reliable follow-up and using off-site connectivity and wireless communications tools.
  • Successful at working in a team culture.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess valid and clear drivers' license.

Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

  • Must have strong customer interface and relationship building skills
  • 3-5 years of experience in network administration
  • 2-4 years of desktop administration
  • 3-5 years of operating systems experience (Windows, Mac, Unix, and/or Linux)
  • 3-5 years of Exchange/Active Directory
  • At least one of the following industry certifications is preferred: MCTS/MCP Server 2008 or above, MCTS/MCP Exchange 2007 or above, CompTIA Server+, Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA), VmWare Certified, Apple Certified Technical Coordinator (ACTC)
  • Proven network analysis and diagnostic skills, ability to implement quick and effective solutions to network problems, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven dedication to enabling continuous operations.
