Motion Industries’ employees provide the highest levels of customer service. We are looking for an HR Intern to perform various administrative tasks and support our HR department’s daily activities. Our Human Resources Intern may provide support in compensation, recruiting, health and safety, employee relations and other functions in the HR department. We are seeking a qualified candidate for summer 2019.
Responsibilities
Supports HR projects and activities according to HR priorities.
Assists in preparing/editing/updating job descriptions.
Supports the HR department in basic screening, recruiting calls and sourcing databases.
Supports HR in health and safety initiatives.
Supports HR in employee relations areas
Assists in preparing HR documentation and presentations
Represents Motion Industries in a professional manner
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Rising college senior pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Human Resources Management or a related field
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills especially in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively
Must be self-motivated and know when to seek guidance
Individual must be a self-starter and capable of working independently as well as part of a team
