Job Description:

Must have skills:

• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or 3+ years of equivalent experience


• Strong skills in SQL, Java and/or Python


• Proficiency and strong experience with Java AWS.


• Maven, Git, Jenkins, CI/CD for deployments.


• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes preferred


• Experience developing Java applications in AWS using EC2, S3, Beanstalk, Load Balancer, Route 53, RDS


• Experience in AWS Step Functions, Lambdas


• Strong documentation and technical writing skills 


• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in Spring Framework and Spring Boot


• Knowledge of PLSQL or any NoSQL such as MongoDB or Cassandra


• Experience of being worked any agile methodology.


• Experience with Junit tests


• SQL and/or No SQL Database experience

 Key Responsibilities:

• Experience with current Java 8 Frameworks (Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Data).


• Experience in coding, designing and building RESTful API’s.


• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.


• Experience in AWS technologies like (EC2, S3, CloudFront, VPC).


• Strong analytical, problem solving skills & technical troubleshooting.


• Experience with testing frameworks, continuous integration and build tools i.e Maven, Gradle, JUnit, Jenkins, Mockito.


• Knowledge of performance and profiling testing highly desired(jProbe, jMeter, YourKit) Demonstrated knowledge of UNIX servers, commands, environments and tool.

• Hands on experience on Designing new modules using AWS components and services that are highly scalable


• Experience of working on Microservices, REST services


• Experience with Spring, MVC, Spring boot


• Any scripting knowledge – python, Shell


• Work experience in Agile projects is added advantage


• Need to work closely with client manager to understand the requirements, understand the design and implement the code .


• Suggest improvements to the existing application. Work as a Tech Lead for offshore teams and ensure completion of deliverables
