The Vice President role is a Financial Analysis position in the Rewards and Benefits group of Chase Card Services Finance. The successful candidate will serve as the Finance lead on business case development, budgeting, and vendor strategy and analysis.
Additionally, the candidate will perform NPV and affordability analysis on new rewards-related products and offerings to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Partner with leaders from Rewards & Benefits as well as Brands business to assess the business and financial impact of new products and offerings
Support vendor negotiations and new deals impacting R&B and Brands
Lead end-to-end financial analysis of technology related business cases, helping the business prioritize and plan its tech roadmap.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, and analysis for R&B
Develop, enhance and maintain existing models and processes
Interface with key stakeholders across Finance, R&B, and all Chase LOB's to understand and deliver business needs while managing numerous concurrent initiatives
Develop robust monthly reporting and analysis to identify and track key business drivers, KPIs, and other measures of financial performance
Create historical analyses tracking the performance of key initiatives over time and the overall impact to the business.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a high-paced business environment, as well as the following:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (or related discipline)
6+ years of business experience in strong analytical positions (Finance, investment banking, consulting, card background preferred)
Demonstrated leadership in terms of attitude and teamwork
Strong mix of analytical, written and presentation skills
Knowledge of different valuation methodologies and financial modeling
Influencing skills and ability to concisely articulate key recommendations
Experience in interacting and communicating recommendations to business leaders for line of business
Superior organizational and process skills, attention to detail
Proactive - continually drives to understand unique needs of each business and/or program and challenges status quo
Comfort in working with ambiguous goals and objectives
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
