The successful candidate will be a member of a team that is responsible for financial and analytical support for the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Operations Products. The team serves as a planning and analytical resource to help Product Owners manage, forecast, plan and gain insight into the financial profitability of their products. Group responsibilities include coordinating financial reporting, managing the planning and forecast process, conducting financial and strategic analysis on product capabilities and providing insight and decision support to Product Owners and CCB Finance. The role will use Tableau, Alteryx, Excel and PowerPoint in conjunction with JPMorgan's financial tools to create meaningful reports and analysis.
Role & Responsibilities
This role will work across the CCB Operations Product teams to develop cross-product reporting and will be the single point of contact for Financial and Business Management for the assigned Product Owner and product team. Responsibilities will include:
Coordinate development of product P&Ls, managing financial section of product OKRs and feature KPIs across Ops Products
Collaborate with other Product CFOs and drive consistency across other Ops products; Work with key stakeholders to drive the production of dashboards and product level P&L reporting (BC view, Budget and Actuals reporting)
Collaborate with Product Owner, Area Product Owner and Product Analytics to understand how the product impacts the Operations businesses
Conduct benefits financial modelling and analysis - builds benefits calculations to model impacts to the business metrics, and monetize outcomes, supporting Product Owner with prioritization decision by determining the value of the product roadmap and backlog
Lead business case development and review with all stakeholders; accountable for BC submission and reconciles BC financials to loaded budget financials; lead benefits review and socialization with Ops leaders, Ops CFO, BP&A and LOB CFOs
Conduct product expense management and reporting
Closely collaborate with IT F&BM colleagues, Technology leadership and APOs to understand IT funding by horizon and feature
Drive development of financial analysis and collaborates with PO and APOs to create presentations for MLT QBRs and senior management
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 6+ years of financial/accounting/investment analysis experience
Experience in Retail Financial Service/ banking industry preferred
Strong team player
Excellent communication and partnering skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and work autonomously within team environment
Ability to research issues/problems and provide a 'solution-based' approach
Adaptable to change and ambiguity in the work environment
Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint (i.e. use of pivot tables, macros, arrays, etc)
Experience with Tableau and Alteryx preferred
Knowledge of Essbase would be an added advantage
Ability to interrogate and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports
