OVERVIEW

The Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver between IT and business organization. You must articulate those ideas but also balance them against what’s technologically and functionally feasible. In this role, you will be facilitating discussions with internal cross-functional teams to help analyze and extract information from our existing systems. The Business Analyst will help determine our implementation plans for internal business systems, existing customer solutions, and products. You will document requirements, develop use cases and test cases, log issues, build training documentations/videos, and offer clarification to technical and business users.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with business partners to identify and gather requirements.


• Conduct review sessions (with the project team, including business partners, developers, and others).


• Clearly and concisely document requirements and functional specifications.


• Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements.


• Produce required project analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, test plans and test cases, UAT plan).


• Create and discuss process flow and data flow diagrams using Visio or similar tools.


• Develop and execute test plans.

 

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• 3+ years of experience in technical requirement gathering.


• Must have experience working on medium to large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business.


• Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point.


• Technical support; QA and testing experience.


• Data analysis – Must have proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Excel

• In order to ensure service levels, it is essential that the individual in this role be able to work a regular and reliable schedule as provided by management.


• It is essential that the duties of this role be performed on-site at iMedia’s facility.
