This 2nd shift, 5:00pm-3:30am position is responsible for transportation
between the Production facility on North 9th Street, the Distribution Center on Margaret Avenue and the Can Line located on Industrial Drive, all located at our Clabber Girl Plant, Terre Haute, IN. This position is not responsible for over the road driving.
Transfers finished goods and raw materials from the distribution center to the production site and production site to the distribution center
Unloads inbound transfers at the distribution center and production site
Use of Warehouse Management Software (WMS)
Use of scanners for Warehouse Management System
Responsible for keeping trailers clean and swept out, free of debris and water
Performs trailer inspections
Recoups damage when necessary
Delivers samples and corresponding paperwork to the QC Lab and R&D Lab
Assists in special projects with co-packers, engineering, quality, and production
Performs monthly maintenance on the tractor and trailer in coordinance with Star Leasing
Assists in housekeeping activities at both the distribution center and production site
Performs job functions in line with the SQF code
Attends necessary trainings provided and suggested
Important Other Skills/Abilities
Fork truck experience in a warehouse setting
The ability to work efficiently with little supervision
Experience in tractor/trailer transport
Education/Work Requirements
H.S. diploma or equivalent
Possess current Class A CDL
