If you are a Sales professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Sidney, Ohio location, you will uncover opportunities at new and existing accounts and deliver sales growth. In this strategic sales role, you will will assist in execution of pricing, product and business strategies, maintaining customer product profiles, managing product launches and phase-outs, developing key relationships, and providing technical support, as needed. The account executive will have accountability for compression, controls, software and integrated solutions. You will manage communications both internally and externally as the single point of contact for several OEM customers.
AS A ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, YOU WILL:
Drive year over year sales growth
Define, build and nurture relationships with key decision makers at all customers in outlined territory
Identify and define customer's growth strategiesm. Design and drive account-specific Cold Chain strategies to align with customer
Identify and define customer needs and product requirements
Complete accountability for delivering territory sales plan and maintaining account business plans
Monthly participation in forecast process and updating
Monthly participation in our new business opportunity management/pipeline process
WHO YOU ARE:
You are action oriented and adept at collaborating with and across complex organizations to instill trust, build networks and extract pain points that ultimately solve customer problems and drive sales growth. You understand how to create opportunities with new and existing customers.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Four (4) year degree plus 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to lead group projects with multidiscipline customers: Procurement, Sourcing, Engineering, Production, and Field Service
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship for this role will not be provided
PREFFERED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Bachelor's Degree in Technical Field. MBA or Master's Degree, a plus
Three (3) years experience in Refrigeration or HVAC industries, sales experience preferred
Knowledge of Refrigeration and HVAC systems and controls
