JOB PURPOSE
The Inside Sales Rep is primarily responsible for initiating and supporting sales activities of established accounts across a group of companies that sell, rent and service various types of machinery.
As the Inside Sales Rep, you'll primarily be responsible for providing centralized support to a network of Sales Reps. You'll develop a strong knowledge of the products and solutions offered then use that knowledge to assist Sales Reps achieve their goals. The new Inside Sales Rep will initially inherit an established portfolio of customers representing ~10% of current total revenue with an expectation to grow that business. You'll focus on identifying new and continued revenue opportunities for established accounts. You'll monitor and maintain customer account data and contractual agreements to ensure existing revenue streams are continuous and uninterrupted. At times, you may be the first point of contact with a new or existing customer, so must build instant rapport then determine the right path to customer satisfaction whether it's refer them to the appropriate Sales Rep or handle the sale yourself. You'll also participate in customer facing marketing and relationship building activities to ultimately drive revenue growth.
