Key Account Manager - Amazon

Myers Industries seeks agoal-oriented, self-directed, and seasoned Key Account Manager to manage and lead the Amazon account for our e-commerce channel. You will be the be the lead point of contact for all key client matters, anticipate the client's needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and help the client succeed. We are the industry leaderin the manufacture ofstorage, organization and transport solutions for industrial, healthcare, custom design, and home storage use. As our Key Account Manager over Amazon, you'll be responsible for establishing and driving strategies for our most important client accounts for Myers Industries, consisting of multiple brands
Other Responsibilities Include:
* Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and company, includes strategic planning to improve client results
* Negotiating contracts with the client and establishing a timeline of performance
* Establishing and overseeing internal budgets with the company and external budgets with the client
* Working with design, sales team, creative, advertising, logistics, managers, marketing, and team members from other departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all client needs met
* Collaborating with the sales team to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling
* Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training
* Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
* Analyzing client data to provide customer relationship management
* Expanding relationships and bringing in new clients
Qualifications Include:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field; Master's degree preferred
* 5 years' previous work experience in sales, management, key account management, or relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 2+ year's previous work experience managing Amazon Vendor and/or Seller accounts
* Proficient use of Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central, Amazon Brand Analytics and Case Log management
* Goal-oriented, self-directed, and strong negotiation skills
* Demonstrated technical proficiency with CRM systems
* Willingness to travel (50%+)
