Job Description:

As a Senior Product Compliance Specialist, you will lead research and problem solving efforts for a portfolio of veterinary diagnostic products in the Animal Healthcare industry. You will lead efforts to understand the chemical interactions within our product formulations, within a cross-functional effort between Research and Development, manufacturing, marketing and a complete range of sciences, to ensure global compliance. What you can expect in this role

• You will research global chemical regulations to ensure products are compliant.




• You will support the coordination and preparation of data packages and dossiers for global regulatory compliance agencies.




• You will characterize formulations by breaking them down into their component parts, researching molecular structure and degradation pathways to make sure chemical mixtures are well understood, and appropriately classified for global compliance.




• You will exercise analytical skills and tools to draw insights from large amounts of manufacturing data.




• You will support overall systems throughout post-launch product life cycle, ensuring each system is functioning to support compliance.




• In addition to your current areas of expertise, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow your skills within a wide variety of disciplines.

What you will need to succeed

• You have a BS in Science, with strong chemistry focus (BioChemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, etc.) or strong, relevant experience in understanding chemical formulations




• You possess a good understanding of life and biological sciences.




• You will partner with product, scientific, technical and business teams to develop compliance strategies, to support a global market.




• You have a successful track record working with cross-functional teams.




• You are proficient in analyzing molecular structure and chemical interactions to support developing and executing appropriate analysis.




• You have flexibility with requirements and regulation changes. Knowledge of GHS a plus.




• You are skilled at using analytical tools such as SAP, Excel, and/or compliance software tools.




• You are a continuous learner who embraces a growth mindset.
